De retour sur les skis après presque deux ans après m’avoir cassé le fémur. Je suis en forme, en Suisse à la fin d’un superbe voyage de découverte dans les Alpes. À venir, un photo reportage de mon voyage avec l’Aventurier Alpin lors du tournage des émissions qui vont paraître l’an prochain.
Mais pour l’instant, un retour sur cet été. Un superbe voyage de ski d’aventure en Patagonie avec José et Jean-Louis. Merci José pour ce beau montage.
Ça fait du bien d’être de retour dans ces belles montagnes du monde. À bientôt.
En février et mars prochain, NÉVÉ sera à l’écran dans le cadre de la deuxième saison de l’émission de l’Aventurier alpin animée par Simon St-Arnaud à Évasion.
Cette aventure à ski nous mène au Chili et en Argentine durant 3 semaines où nous avons parcouru près de 4000 Km au travers de volcans, sources d’eau chaude et plein de péripéties propres à l’Amérique du sud. À part la neige et la gravité, il n’y a absolument rien de commun à ce qu’un skieur peu connaître du ski au nord de l’Équateur. L’expertise de NÉVÉ, c’est de comprendre l’environnement de montagne et s’y adapter. C’est avec notre expérience du ski dans les Andes et de ses particularités que NÉVÉ réussit à offrir le meilleur ski en plein été. Depuis maintenant 5 ans, pendant que certains jouent au golf, d’autres préfèrent venir skier avec nous et vivre une expérience mémorable. Ce voyage le confirme. Vous aurez simplement à regarder les images qui seront présentées cet hiver!

Névé est déjà en train de planifier sa saison de ski d’été 2011 où il nous fera plaisir de vous accueillir et vous faire découvrir le ski comme vous ne l’avez jamais vécu.
Névé travaille avec l’émission de télévision l’Aventurier Alpin pour son programme en Amérique du sud. Nous irons faire un rodéo latino au Chile et en Argentine.

Wandering Without Answers in PatagoniaThis is where questions come from.The PowderQuest ski guiding season ends. What to do. We both, Pierre and I have three weeks off before our next commitment. Scratch, scratch, scratch…our heads are itching and we are chomping at the bit for some action. There is only so much you can get out of the Santiago disco scene not to mention that at every rave where we end up seems to have the same hombre loving types that gravitates around us even thought we are obviously grinding with the latin lovelies.We take to the sky and fly to Punta Arenas for some more disco and cultural exploration… this time we got chased by this dude and his swinging hammer, a fucking hammer (when I write “we”, I mean me). Enough of that, we pick up our third recovering partner at the airport in our pimping Diesel SUV. Lovely machine but comes from the time before the turbo. We top out at 100km/h and maybe 120km/h downhill with a tail wind. All the way to Puerto Natales we cruise, just in time for the end of the sea kayak guiding course my buddies are on and join them for the ultimo asado fiesta thing. People meet people from all corners of the world and figure out there seven degrees of separation. A good exercise when fueled with vino. (more…)

Hi everyone,Here we are! It is spring time in Chile. After spending most of the season in central Chile, Phil and I just flew to southern Patagonia. It is still winter down here with plenty of snow to enjoy. We are presently in Punta Arenas in order to set up transportation logistics for the next month down here. Many great objectives on the list. First of all, the legendary Torres des Paine national park. Then heading north to El Calafate and El Chalten and the magnificent Fitz Roy Massif as well as cerro Torre. Some of the world’s most beautiful mountains, on the edge of the Southern Ice Cap, the world’s third biggest ice sheet. With a little help of mother nature, we will get to ski these areas that do not get skied very often.
